President Bush has means to destroy Kerry's bid

With the release of the 9/11 Commission report, President Bush alone has possession of the ball.

The president, in a series of Executive Orders can take the oxygen totally away from the Democratic Convention next week and help the country at the same time.

He can use executive orders to implement all the suggestions in the report, including naming a Director of National Security. Naming one may not help with the security of the country, but it will not hurt, especially if he can take control of the position away from the congress by naming his own person by executive order.

Everybody wants these suggestions implemented. The congress, the democrats, the republicans, and the News Media are all raising their voices in a total cacophony of noise. Why not give them all they want.

Imagine how this will overwhelm any rants coming out of the upcoming Democratic Convention if he does this next week.

The President is in a unique position to take control of the process, and there is nothing John Kerry, Congress, or the Democratic Party can do to stunt the popularity of the President which would ensue.

Now is the time. The White House is the place. Executive Orders are the way.
